The Aurora Climate Challenge

Through the Aurora Climate Challenge we invite customers, employees, and partners to help tighten the emissions cap in Europe. We will match the funding when the cause reaches 100%, so it's double the impact! Together, we raise funds to buy and cancel EU Emission Allowances (EUAs) – the official pollution permits industries need to emit CO₂. When these are removed, the total allowed amount of emissions goes down. For us, this is a complement to our own climate work in our properties: improving energy efficiency, using renewable energy, and choosing smarter materials. The challenge gives everyone who lives, works, or collaborates with Aurora a simple way to contribute directly to lower emissions, on top of what we do in our projects. Every contribution, big or small, helps move us toward properties with a smaller climate footprint and a more sustainable everyday life for the people who use them.
